Blake loves his preschool class and after spending the morning helping with the Halloween Party, I can totally see why! His teacher is so enthusiastic and fun. She had several games set up, the kids decorated their own pumpkins, fished for stickers to decorate their trick or treating sacks, actually went trick or treating, and much much more! I took a picture of Blake writing his name...what a big boy!

Warning: Long Post - SUMMER RECAP
This was a busy summer and because it was so busy I didn't get to post after everything. So, I'm sorry this post is so long, but it had to be done!
Lake Powell
It was a blast! The kids had a great time and it was so sad when it was time to leave. Thanks to Nick's mom and dad for such a fun trip!
Girl's Camp
I have a new appreciation for all my past camp director's. I never realized how much work goes into planning camp! It took month's of preparation but it was a lot of fun! I had a great time getting to know the girl's and other leader's in a "camp" setting. (It brings out the best in all of us!)
Spur of the moment swim day!
We took the kids the new Washington City Pool and we had a great time. The kids had fun! (Side note: kind of gross but needs to be said...Brooke got an eye infection from the pool. Needless to say, we haven't been back)
4th of July in Las Vegas!
It was fun to go "home" for the 4th! We stayed at the Orleans and their pool was great. The kids loved it! We spent some time at the arcade at the "Castle" and it was super fun. Nick tried several times to win one of the enormous basketball's for Blake, but it just didn't happen (maybe next time babe!) Overall, we had so much fun!
Blake's Camel Ride!
This was not the only ride he went on. Nope, this was one of THREE! Man, we are suckers! And at $8 a ride...what were we thinking?
Warm & Cozy
I just had to throw these cute pictures of Blake in.

All About Blake!
Well, Blake is growing by leaps and bounds everyday. He started soccer and preschool last month. I was a little nervous for both, but he is doing great. He loves his preschool class and I am so impressed by his teacher. He is learning so much and is still excited to go everyday! (That is quite an accomplishment since Blake tends to get bored of things quickly) As for soccer, Nick has to constantly remind him that it's not football. Blake loves to tackle the other team along with his own team members. Nick was so proud after the first game (by the way Nick's the coach), he walked off the field and said to me, "Blake is going to be great at football!" Um, that is good and all, but this is soccer. He is super aggressive, but he has made several goals and has made some great friends too, so all in all, it is probably worth it. (Even if I do get a little embarassed at each game when someone leaves the field crying because Blake either tackled or head butted them)
Then on Thursday night Blake decided he didn't want training wheels on his bike anymore. We worked with him for probably an hour and a half. He did a great job. He woke me up early on Friday morning begging to practice on his bike. So, I put my sweats and running shoes on and took him out to practice. It was difficult to hold Brooke in my left arm and hold the back of this bike in my right and run along behind him. Finally one time I just let go and off he went. He went all the way around the block. He can stop himself perfectly and just needs a little help starting. I can hardly believe all the huge strids he is making. He is so full of energy and so much fun to be around. It's so hard to believe he's four. We love him so much!
SOCCER!
